The 31st China SAE Congress & Exhibition (SAECCE 2024) is scheduled at the Chongqing Science Center, China from November 11 to 14, 2024.

All together making its city the ideal environment for discussing and showcasing the latest developments in automotive technology with like-minded individuals from around the world.

The China SAE Congress & Exhibition (SAECCE) has been successfully held for 30 sessions. With the entire industry's strong support, the SAECCE's influence has been continuously enhanced. It has become the most comprehensive academic conference with the most complete technical system, the largest scale, and the richest levels in the automotive field. It has played an important role in leading the direction of automotive technology, promoting technical exchanges and cooperation, and promoting technological innovation.

The theme of SAECCE 2024 is "Emergent Intelligence leads to a New Stage of Accelerated Transformation". SAECCE 2024 will focus on the major innovation needs of the automotive industry, aim at the future development of cutting-edge and disruptive technologies, and highlight the frontiers of automotive technology, key technological innovation, engineering technology research and development, application practice, and industrial cooperation. It will strive to promote automotive technological progress, cross-domain technology integration and innovation, and industrial cooperation, accelerate the development of automotive talents, and lead the high-quality development of the automotive industry.

2. Main Contents

SAECCE 2024 is expected to hold 1 opening ceremony and plenary session, 4 primary sessions, 1 CTO closed-door summit, and nearly 100 special sessions and technical seminars. The topics cover 6 major areas: energy-saving technology, new energy vehicles technology, intelligent and connected vehicles technology, basic common technology, vehicle integration and performance technology, and intelligent manufacturing and equipment technology.

At the same time, during the conference, important industry awards activities such as the Rao Bin Award for China's Automotive Industry, the 2024 China Society of Automotive Engineers S&T Award, and the Fellow Conferring Ceremony will be held, and major achievements such as the Top Ten Technology Trends of China's Automotive Industry in 2025 will be released. Popular science events such as the Second Youth Automotive Science and Technology Festival will be held.

SAECCE 2024 received 1,276 papers in total, and it is expected that 500 papers will be accepted. Technical seminars will be further organized around the accepted papers.

The concurrent technology exhibition will include four exhibition areas: energy-saving and new energy vehicles technology, intelligent and connected vehicles technology, test & simulation and equipment technology, and vehicle integration and common technology. Five special exhibitions will be built around the four major theme exhibition areas: advanced battery and vehicle thermal management, vehicle-road-cloud integration, simulation software and toolchain, and intelligent chassis and automotive-grade chips.

It is expected to attract 4,000-5,000 representatives from the government, universities and research institutions, complete vehicles, upstream and downstream auto parts companies, and technological innovation companies; the technology exhibition area is expected to be 15,000 square meters, with more than 180 exhibitors and more than 20,000 visitors.
